One of the biggest epiphanies
that Project Managers experience at some point in their careers is the
day they realize
that they’re actually in sales! If organizations are to achieve the

going to have to embrace the new technology. In turn, this requires a well
thought-out Communications Strategy that stresses the benefits to the end
users or your particular audience. In essence, one of your challenges is
to sell the end users on the ‘what’s in it for them’ message. Depending on your audience, their geographical distribution, the length of the project and the degree of technology and process change involved, your Communications Strategy may require developing and presenting Road Shows, developing and distributing Newsletters, publishing a project website, developing a video, or the use of other communications tools. Too, you’ll need to incorporate in that strategy the methods, timing, and content for reporting progress and issues to various areas of the organization.
