Detailed Business Design
 
   
The Detailed Business Design phase is defined as that time when the project team will conduct the Business Process Labs (BPL) and develop the detailed requirements and specifications that will be used by the business and technical teams to build and test the systems.

We will bring experienced analysts into your project team who are not only knowledgeable of the software, but also have extensive plant and business process experience that will enable you to integrate your business requirements into the software and the supporting subsystems.

A sample of the activities occurring during this phase includes:

P Supervise the software training sessions;
P Administer the pre-BPL training;
P Conduct the BPL sessions to align the business processes
      with the software; and
P Configure the software to the business processes.

A sample of the deliverables that must be developed during
this phase includes:

P BPL requirements documents;
P Data conversion plan;
P Training matrix;
P Security matrix;
P Region management plan;
P Data conversion specifications; and
P Data conversion schedule.

 
The Detailed Business Design phase is considered finished when the specifications have been reviewed and accepted by the business and technical teams as sufficient to begin construction of the various programs and sub-systems, and the appropriate documents have been reviewed and approved by the project sponsor and/or the executive committee.
